A sterilization apparatus for a drinking water storage tank is provided to construct the sterilization apparatus relatively easily since UV LEDs are small and light, obtain an effect of regularly sterilizing a large amount of drinking water, and maximize an effect of sterilizing drinking water by periodically sterilizing drinking water while circulating drinking water. A sterilization apparatus(10) for a drinking water storage tank comprises: a hollow apparatus body(11) connected to the storage tank to flow in drinking water from the drinking water storage tank(1) and return the flown-in drinking water to the storage tank; and a sterilizing unit(20) which is installed within the apparatus body and includes one or more UV LEDs(21) to sterilize drinking water by emitting ultraviolet rays onto drinking water that has been flown in the apparatus body. The sterilization apparatus further comprises a pump(12) installed in the apparatus body to smoothen inflow and outflow of drinking water in the apparatus body. The sterilizing unit includes: one or more circuit boards(22) having one or more UV LEDs and electric circuits electrically driving the UV LEDs; a fixing member(23) of which one side is supported to the circuit boards, and of which other side is fixed to an one inner side of the apparatus body; and a sealing transmission member(24) which seals the circuit boards from drinking water and is formed on the fixing member to transmit ultraviolet rays emitted from the UV LEDs. |
