A method for manufacturing the agricultural chemical granular formulation is provided to improve the floating on water surface and diffusion. A method for manufacturing the agricultural chemical granular formulation comprises the steps of mixing an agricultural chemical active component, a plastic micro-hollow body, a surfactant, a binder and calcium carbonate with water; extruding and granulating the mixture; and drying the granulated one, wherein the water content of the composition obtained by mixing is 15 weight% ~25 weight%, the content of calcium carbonate of the mixture before mixing with water is 30 weight% ~90 weight%, and the amount of calcium carbonate is 15~30 parts by weight to 1 part by weight of the plastic micro-hollow body.
