PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture display for displaying pictures taken by a plurality of cameras using a plurality of projectors, which has an image data conversion-display mechanism for displaying a plurality of camera pictures as one high-definition seamless picture. SOLUTION: The apparatus photographs an object using a plurality of cameras, projects camera pictures on a screen as one high-definition picture using a plurality of projectors corresponding to the cameras one to one. It comprises a picture corrector for correcting the lens distortion and estimating camera parameters when the position or the focal length of the camera is changed. It creates a conversion table of pictures of the cameras input pictures on the projectors corresponding to the cameras, based on the estimated camera parameters, parameters of the projectors and the screen shape.
