A liquid/gas storage tank monitoring apparatus is provided to photograph the inside of a tank for observation by using a camera which vertically and horizontally rotates and is inserted inside the liquid/gas storage tank. A liquid/gas storage tank monitoring apparatus comprises an observation equipment elevating member, a main body(24), an angle adjusting part(28), a camera housing(40), first and second lamp housings(42,44). Inside the observation equipment elevating member, a power line and a signal line are embedded and the observation equipment elevating member is ascended and descended in the storage tank. The main body is coupled on the observation equipment elevating member through a connector. The angle adjusting part is inserted into the upper side of the main body and adjusts horizontal/vertical angle to monitor the storage tank. The camera housing is mounted on a lower main part of the main body to adjust the angle in a vertical direction and in the camera housing, a camera is accepted. The first and the second lamp housings are mounted on the lower part and the upper part of the camera and in the first and the second lamp housings, a lamp is accepted.
