<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a contents-providing service system which manages the right of viewing contents on a network to enable various terminals to utilize meta data including utilizing conditions of the contents, etc. <P>SOLUTION: The system is composed of purchased terminals 1, video terminals 5, and a contents purchase processing server 2. All elements are interconnected over a network. When a purchaser refers to a contents menu shown in a display and purchases selected contents, the purchased terminal 1 sends a purchase request including input purchaser identification information. Upon receipt of the purchase request through a purchase processor 11, the contents purchase processing server 2 generates the contents viewing right of viewing contents purchased by the purchaser including at least the purchaser identification information and information for identifying the purchased contents, and a contents viewing right manager 13 manages the contents viewing right used for viewing the contents purchased by the purchaser on the video terminal 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
