The pneumatic parking brake assembly (1) has a valve device (2) for controlling a passive brake (6) on a rear axle of a towed vehicle and another valve device (4) for controlling an active brake (8) on a front axis of the towed vehicle. Another valve device is exclusively controlled by pneumatic signals, which are partly controlled by former valve device.
