The arrangement has a fixation tab (34) received along a mounting direction in a fixation groove of a casing of a headlight (10) so as to be plated against an internal face (38) of a peripheral edge (22) of a front glass (18) in an assembled position with the glass, where the glass closes a front opening of the casing. A fixation unit (46) fixes a trim (30) to the glass in the assembled position through the tab and is mounted on the casing. The fixation unit has a shape complementary to that of the glass and includes two sliders (48) in which the tab is received in the assembled position.
