PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor reduced in noise which can restrain the rotation of a cover with respect to a step at an end of an opening, and is highly reliable. SOLUTION: In the hermetic compressor reduced in noise, a rotation locking section 165 is arranged between the cover 153 and a delivery chamber 125. When pushing and fixing the cover 153 on a step of a chamber while fastening a bolt 157, the rotation locking section 165 restrains the rotation of the cover 153 even if the cover 153 begins to rotate with respect to the step. The highly-reliable hermetic compressor hardly causes the poor compression and breakage of a delivery communication tube 163. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
