Use of at least an acid group containing compound (I), which is an organic complex forming agent and polymer carboxylic acid group containing compound, as additive in an enzyme containing liquid detergent or cleaning composition for improving the washing or cleaning capacity, is claimed. Independent claims are included for: (1) the liquid detergent or cleaning composition; and (2) an additive composition comprising a combination of methyl glycidine acetic acid and at least polymer carboxylic acid group containing compounds, or a combination of at least a polyamine modified by a carboxylic group and at least polymer carboxylic acid group containing compounds.
