A copolymer for an organic semiconductor, and an organic thin film transistor using the copolymer are provided to improve solubility, coplanarity and processability. A copolymer for an organic semiconductor is represented by the formula 1, wherein A1 ~ A4 and B1 ~ B4 are independently hydrogen, -OH, a C1-C20 linear, branched or cyclic alkyl group, a C1-C20 alkoxyalkyl group, or a C1-C16 linear, branched or cyclic alkoxy group; D1 and D2 are an aromatic ring of the carbon number 6~30, a heteroaromatic ring of the carbon number 4~14, or a condensed polycyclic ring of the carbon number 6~30; x, x' and y are an integer of 1 ~ 6; z is an integer of 0 ~ 4; and m + n is an integer of 5 ~ 200, but m and n are an integer greater than 0, respectively.
