<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress low the manufacturing cost of a display controller of a game machine for pinball etc., by lightening the burden of control over screen display of a pattern display device. <P>SOLUTION: Patterns are set for a plurality of sprite planes 12, 14, ..., 1m stored in a sprite plane group information storage means 10 first and a sprite plane specifying means 20 specifies at least two sprite planes needed for display among the plurality of sprite planes 12, 14, ..., 1m. Then an information composing means 40 puts together pieces of information of the specified sprint planes among 22, ..., 2n, and the composite information 42 is displayed on a pattern display device. Under this display control, a variety of display forms are obtained depending upon which of sprite planes are specified among the plurality of sprite planes 12, 14, ..., 1m and information on patterns to be needed for displaying is suppressed to the minimum. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
