A pulsed-driven display comprises an organic light-emitting device (OLED), said device containing a composition comprising a host material and a phosphorescent emitter; characterized in that the phosphorescent emitter is present in the host material at a concentration of greater than 7.5wt.%. Also shown is a phosphorescent composition comprising a host material and a phosphorescent emitter wherein the phosphorescent emitter is present in the host material at a concentration of greater than 10wt.%. The host material may be a polymer.
