A stereoscopic image displaying device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to suppress the generation of cross-talk which are caused by the heat of a phase-shift plate and an image display unit. An image display part(130) comprises an image generating unit. The image generating unit includes an image generating region which generates an image beam for the right eye and an image generating region which generates an image beam for the left eye. A phase-shift plate is arranged at the output side of the image display part and includes polarizations for the right and left eyes. An adhesive layer sticks the output side of the image display part to the incident side of the phase-shift plate.
