<p>An index table in which the right-hand/left-hand specification of a motor is made alterable. As a solution, in the index table (1), in which a rotary table (3) is supported on a frame (2) to be rotatable by a rotating shaft (10), an installation plane (5) is provided on the frame (2) to intersect the rotary table plane (4) of the rotary table (3) perpendicularly, a motor (8) is arranged on one surface (6) out of the two surfaces (6, 7) of the frame (2) respectively intersecting the rotary table plane (4) and the installation plane (5) perpendicularly, the output shaft (9) of the motor (8) is coupled to the end on one surface (6) side of a worm shaft (11) intersecting the one surface (6) perpendicularly through transmission elements (14, 15), and the motor (8) drives the rotary table (3) through the transmission elements (14, 15), the worm (12) of the worm shaft (11) and the worm wheel (13) of the rotating shaft (10), the motor (8) can be removed from the one surface (6) out of the two surfaces (6, 7) and fixed to the other surface (7), and the output shaft (9) is coupled to the end on the other surface (7) side of the worm shaft (11) through the transmission elements (14, 15).</p> |
