An accident preventing system of a tunnel or common duct is provided to prevent diffusion of a fire, thereby prevent the generation of large accidents by promptly coping with internal circumstances of the tunnel or common duct. An accident preventing system(10) of a tunnel or common duct comprises a moving part, a monitoring part, a fire extinguishing part, and a control part(400). The moving part includes moving rails(110) installed on a wall body of the tunnel or common duct and a moving member(120) moved along the moving rails. The monitoring part includes a monitoring camera(210) installed on the moving member to monitor accidents such as a fire and a traffic accident. The fire extinguishing part includes fire-extinguishing solution storage tanks(310) and spray nozzles(320) installed on the moving member adjacently to the monitoring part to extinguish the fire when a fire breaks out. The control part transmits an image signal to a control room and receives an operating signal from the control room to control the operation of the moving part, monitoring part, and fire extinguishing part.
