A disk drive apparatus is provided to allow a disk to be compressed and supported between the turn table and the clamp by forcing the clamp with the elastic force of the spring. A disk drive apparatus comprises a main base, a turn table which is provided on the main base to mount a disk, a clamp(16) which is provided on the top of the turn table to compress the disk, and a pressing unit which is provided on one side of the clamp and gives the clamp a compression force to compress the disk. The pressing unit is composed of a press plate(21) contacting the clamp and an elastic member combined with the press plate.
