A nonaqueous electrolyte battery, its preparation method, and an electrode used in the battery are provided to prevent the deterioration of cycle characteristic even if the thickness of an electrode is increased or the volume density of an electrode is increased. A nonaqueous electrolyte battery comprises a cathode(21); an anode(22); and a nonaqueous electrolyte, wherein at least one of the cathode and the anode has an active material layer comprising a room temperature molten salt and poly(vinyl pyrrolidone). The active material layer comprises an active material, a conductive agent and a binder, and the content of the room temperature molten salt is 0.1~3 parts by weight to 100 parts by weight of the total amount of the active material, the conductive agent and the binder. |
