A swing-type hinge module is provided to be suitable for a slim portable terminal. A swing-type hinge module comprises a case(10), a rotating plate(20), a protruded piece(30) and an elastic member(40). The case comprises the first case(10') and the second case(10") A mounting guide unit(11) is formed inside the first case. A plurality of hooking grooves(12) are formed around the mounting guide unit. The second case is coupled with the first case. The rotating plate is arranged between the first case and the second case, and is rotatably mounted in the mounting guide unit. The protruded piece is inserted into the hooking grooves according to the rotation of the rotating plate. The elastic member elastically supports the protruded piece so as to be protruded toward one side of the rotating plate.
