A hinge module for a slide swing-type portable terminal and the portable terminal using the same are provided to make a rotating member slide and rotate at the same time through the simple structure of a shaft member passing through the rotating member. A hinge module for a slide swing-type portable terminal comprises a main body(10), a slide body(20), a rotating member(30) and a shaft member(40). The slide body is combined with the main body so as to be slid. The rotating member is rotatably hinge-coupled with the slide body. The shaft member connects the rotating member and main body. One end of the shaft member is combined with the rotating member so as to be slid, and the other end is hinge-coupled with the main body.
