A display device and an electronic apparatus are provided to realize a high brightness image while reducing a time of a recording period. A display device(100) includes a plurality of pixels which is designed to make a time for recording an image to the pixel changed according the distance between from a signal transmission line to the pixel. The time recording the image into the pixel is controlled based on the wire resistance of the signal transmission path to the pixel of the signal transmission line and wiring capacitance. The time for recording the image into the pixel controlled to be long according to the increase of the distance of the signal transmission path to the pixel.
