A process for the mulch producing involves chipping wood-base material, classification and drying shredded chips. Chipping and classification are made simultaneously, chipping is carried out on single-roll crusher to size of 0.5-, and classification is carried out by means of screen arranged under the crusher roll. Prior to chipping and/or during chipping wood-base material is wetted with water and/or with solution of coloring agent. Ferrous oxides are used as coloring agent. |
