FIELD: technological processes. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production of powder for making tungsten wire. Ammonium paratungstate is decomposed to produce blue tungsten oxide at temperature of 640-660C without air access with exhaust of water vapors to condenser. Produced tungsten oxide is soaked in acid solution of doped components at the ratio of T:Zh= 10:34 and temperature of pulp boiling till completion of evaporation, and is then reduced in atmosphere of dry hydrogen to tungsten powder in single stage at temperature of 740-780C. ^ EFFECT: powder preparation with proper physical-mechanical properties. ^ 4 tbl, 1 ex
