An automation system of transferring press material and a material transferring method are provided to improve productivity by transferring and pressing 20~30 materials per minute based on a 200 tone press machine. A material transferring method of press material comprises following steps. The material(10) loaded in a material loading device(11) is supplied to a taking unit of a material transferring device. The supplied material is transferred to a mold of a press machine by absorbing the supplied material. The upper mold is descended and hits the material and is ascended. A drawing unit is inserted into the mold. The material on the mold is absorbed and is transferred to a secondary transferring device. The material is transferred to the taking unit of a post-process. The material delivered from the secondary transferring device is absorbed and is inserted into the mold. The upper mold is descended and hits the material and is ascended The drawing unit is inserted into the mold. The material is transferred to a conveyor belt of the material discharging device.
