An input device capable of form change and an input change method thereof are provided to offer only keyboard buttons necessary for a user, thereby realizing a more convenient interface environment. An input unit comprises minor button possible to move up and down. As to the input unit, one or more minor button comprises one button. According to a selected action mode, the input unit moves the minor buttons to form a change of an input device. An input program storage unit(530) stores an input program which activates the minor buttons to be used according to the selected action mode. A controller(520) performs the control of the activation of the minor buttons, the processing of input by the minor buttons, and the output of a processed result.
