PROFILE SYNCHRONIZATION SYSTEM AND THE METHOD THEREOF

A system and a method for synchronizing a profile are provided to enable a counterpart to check the changed profile by informing the counterpart of changed items when the changed profile is registered to a web server. A web server(120) includes subscriber accounts and a profile matching table. A subscriber profile is stored to the subscriber account. The profile matching table includes a list of terminals synchronized with the subscriber profile. When the subscriber profile is changed, the web server transmits the changed subscriber profile to the terminals synchronized with the changed subscriber profile. A synchronization server(110) includes a database storing the subscriber profiles of the synchronized terminals. The synchronization server changes the subscriber profile of the matched terminals when the changed subscriber profile is received.
