The present invention consists in a formula and method for preparing a 100% natural refreshing beverage with the traditional flavour of a soft drink, which may be added with preservatives so that it is preserved for human consumption; the inventive beverage may be prepared as an effervescent or carbonated beverage such as a traditional soft drink but without losing its natural nomenclature; the inventive beverage includes sugar, lemon juice and tamarind pulp mixed in sterilised water.
