A manhole cover capable of indicating information about a manhole is provided to give variability for quickly and simply indicating information about the joining direction of various pipes and the flow direction of water according to site conditions even if a manhole cover has one information display pattern. A manhole cover(10) capable of indicating information about a manhole is formed by dividing the circumference of a manhole cover into eight equal parts, forming intaglio direction indication units(11) which indicate the central direction and the outer direction of the manhole cover simultaneously in the divided parts respectively, and applying paints selectively to the direction indication unit to correspond with the flow direction of flowing water in the manhole, thereby expressing the joining direction of pipes and the flow direction of flowing water precisely. |
