A valve device of a shock absorber is provided to offset a decrease in a damping force caused by viscosity degradation of a working fluid and manage a temperature variation of the working fluid to maintain uniform damping force property all the time. A valve device of a shock absorber includes a piston valve(22), a valve disc, and a semi-disc. The piston valve has a rebound flow path(62b) and a compression flow path(62a) through which a working fluid flows between a rebound chamber and a compression chamber. The valve disc is located under the piston valve and controls the working fluid. The semi-disc closely comes into contact with the bottom of the piston valve and is located on the valve disc according to a retainer member to vary the closing area of the rebound flow path according to the temperature of the working fluid.
