<p>The sub assembly has a height adjusting device e.g. wheel pivot or stub axle, interposed between a suspension system and a steering stub axle (36). The system is composed of lower and upper tongues (12, 14) and a vertical arm (18). The device adjusts height of the steering stub axle with respect to the system for adjusting ground clearance of a motor vehicle independently of displacement of the system. The device has a body (20) connected to the system, a steering stub axle support (35) slidingly mounted with respect to the body, and a vertical guide pin (40) connected to the body.</p> |
