A smart key system and a control method thereof are provided to perform door open and vehicle driving by using a card embedding RFID device. A smart key system includes a smart card(10), an electronic authentication control device and a steering lock device. The smart card embeds RFID device. The electronic authentication control device is in communication with the card. The steering lock device has an actuator and performs locking or unlocking in accordance with a signal from the electronic authentication control device. |
