A method for receiving digital broadcasting and a broadcasting receiver thereof are provided to quickly offer the digital broadcasting to a receiver with reduced broadcasting entry time by parallel receiving data tables included in program specification information. A transport stream is received and data tables included in program specification information is received in parallel(S440). An audio and/or video signal ID is extracted and set by using the data tables(S460). A stream for the audio and/or video signal is received(S470). |
