A co-generation system is provided to cool the engine without additional heat exchanger by making the fluid pass through heat from the engine. A co-generation system comprises a generator(2), an engine(4) driving the generator, a heat recovery part(20) in which a fluid collects the heat from the engine, a heat transfer part(30) through which the fluid from the heat recovery part passes to deliver the heat, and a pump(50) operating the fluid. The heat recovery part includes an exhaust gas heat exchanger(22) having an exhaust gas heat recovery passage(21) in which the fluid collects heat from exhaust gas of the engine, an engine heat recovery passage(23) which is formed in the engine so that the fluid directly passes through the engine, and an exhaust gas heat exchanger-engine connection passage(24) connecting the exhaust gas heat recovery passage and engine heat recovery passage.
