The agent has a haemostatic contact tissue used as an active product, and including acid pH combined with povidone iodine, where borders of an incision window (2) is integrated with the agent. The haemostatic contact tissue is constituted by regenerated or non-regenerated oxidized cellulose or regenerated or non-regenerated chitosan impregnated oxidized cellulose. 70 to 130 microliters of pure or diluted povidone iodine is provided in 2 to 16 centimeter square of the contact tissue. An independent claim is also included for a device for active protection of incision margins, comprising an incision window.
