<p>The invention relates to a method for making a SiC-based porous refractory ceramic product by high-temperature baking and sintering from a fraction of fine SiC particles and a fraction of SiC particles of a larger size, said method being characterised in that, during a step preceding the high-temperature baking and sintering, the finest SiC particles are agglomerated while, during a second step, the granules thus obtained are added to the SiC powder including the particles with the largest size. The invention also relates to a porous SiC body re-crystallised essentially into a CC form, in particular a particle filter for automotive application, obtained by said method.</p> |
