The machine has a rotor (2) with an exterior wall (8) placed against an interior wall (6) of a stator (4). The walls (6, 8) contact at the level of a contact zone and respectively have tetrahedral carbon coatings (10, 12), where a lubricant (15) e.g. glycerol, forming a lubricant film is placed between the coatings. The coatings include tetrahedral carbon layers (10.1, 12.1) respectively deposited on the rotor and the stator, and graphite layers (10.2, 12.2) respectively deposited on the carbon layers. A lubricant tank made of sintered ceramic material is placed in the stator or rotor.
