A refrigerator and a system for opening or closing a home bar door of the refrigerator are provided to automatically open a home bar door by simply touching the front surface of the door and generate warning messages for an obstacle in front of the door when opening the door. A system for opening or closing a home bar door of a refrigerator includes a touch button(20) mounted at a side of a front surface of a home bar door(14) for inputting an opening command for the home bar door, a sensor(21) mounted to a front surface of the home bar door or a refrigerator door for sensing a user or an obstacle in front thereof, and a driving motor for opening or closing the home bar door according to the input of the touch button.
