CONNECTING STRUCTURE OF ELEMENTS FOR A IMMERSED TUBE TUNNEL

A connecting structure of an immersed tunnel is provided to prevent a leakage of water by making wings of a rubber gasket adhere closely to the end of an immersion container by water pressure added to a rubber gasket. A connecting structure of an immersed tunnel is formed by inserting a rubber gasket(20) having an U-shaped groove to surround a hollow of an immersion container into a connection of immersion containers(10) to make the U-shaped groove face outward, wherein the height(h) of a groove of the rubber gasket is larger than the half of the width(b) of the rubber gasket as much as the reciprocal of the coefficient of friction between the rubber gasket and the immersion container.
