The handbrake has a brake housing (32) with a spring (34) e.g. tension spring or compression spring, which acts on a brake mechanism (50). An adjusting device (40) i.e. electromechanical adjusting device, is movably supported in the brake housing to apply the handbrake and is displaced by the spring against a stop (36) in the housing so that the adjusting device pre-stresses the spring. The spring acts on the adjusting device via the housing, and is formed as an elastic inner wall such as bellows, of the brake housing. |
