A remote activation method of a URC client is provided to increase an available time of the URC client without increasing costs or weight of a device. A remote activation method of a URC client comprises the following steps. The URC client transceiving data with at least one server transmits registration information for remote activation of the server(S1). The URC client is switched between the first mode and the second mode. The URC client is switched from the first mode to the second mode(S3). The URC client receives an activation signal generated by using the registration information(S5). The URC client is switched from the second mode to the first mode by using the activation signal(S6).
