ACRYLIC PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE COMPOSITION

An acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is provided to improve light leak phenomena caused by a curved liquid crystal panel or residual stress under the heat or wet-heat condition by controlling the birefringence of an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. An acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is composed of crosslinkable acrylic copolymer(A) consisting of crosslinkable group-containing monomers and a non-crosslinkable acrylic copolymer(B) in a ratio of 1:9 ~ 5:5. The copolymer(A) and (B) is comprised of 75-97 parts of (meth)acrylic acid ester-based monomers and 3-25 parts of aromatic group-containing monomers. The aromatic group-containing monomer represents the formula 1. In the formula 1, R1 is hydrogen or methyl group; R2 is a C1-C12 alkylene group; n is an integer of 0~3; X is single bond, oxygen, sulfur or C1-C4 alkylene group; and Ar is halogen or C1-C12 alkyl substituted or non-substituted aromatic group.
