ELECTRODE FOR ELECTROCHEMICAL CAPACITOR AND PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME

An electrode for electrochemical capacitor and manufacturing method thereof are provided to enhance the lifetime of electrochemical capacitor by using vinyl aceteamide polymer as a binder. An active carbon(1a) is mixed with a conductive material(1b). The conductive material is made of ketjen black or acetyleneblack, black lead power. A composition containing active material and binder is formed to slurry through mixing. An electrode is formed by applying the slurry in current collector. The binder is used in 1 to 10 weight part of N vinyl aceteamide polymer and 1 to 10 weight part of butadiene styrene based on 100 weight part.
