A spindle motor is provided to support a disc and reduce cost by forming a center guide element by synthetic resin. A rotor is combined to a rotation shaft(140) and make shaft rotate. A turntable(170), in which disc is mounted, rotates with rotation shaft in a body. A support frame(285) of center guide element(280) is extended from upper circumference of body(281) to lower side. A first inclined plane(285a) has the angle of 50° to axis of rotation. A second inclined plane(285b) has the angle of 19° to axis of rotation.
