A cooking vessel is provided to supply food safely by forming the cooking vessel from composite material using a silver plate having a sterilizing function. A cooling vessel such as a pot or a frying pan is formed from composite material. The composite material comprises: a silver plate(3); and a nickel plate(4), a copper plate(5), a nickel plate(4'), and a silver plate(3') sequentially laminated onto the top side of the silver plate. The composite material further comprises 1100 series aluminum plates inserted between the copper plate and nickel plates. The composite material further comprises 3003 series aluminum plates inserted between the copper plate and 1100 series aluminum plates.
