The method involves verifying whether an application of correlation metrics e.g. correlation metrics by autocorrelation, to a signal received by a receiving antenna has extremes separated at an interval corresponding to a predefined size. An orientation angle is associated to an extreme value based on one of the extremes. The antenna is oriented along an angle of assembly of angles according to the metrics, for which the extreme chosen from the extremes associated to the angles of the assembly of angles is maximum or minimum. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program product comprising program code instructions for implementing a method for orienting a receiving antenna (2) a storage unit storing a set of instructions for implementing a method for orienting a receiving antenna (3) a device for orienting a receiving antenna.
