A lagging elastic band is provided to increase the contact force and power of frictional resistance by pressuring a nonslip protrusion to a conveyor belt. A lagging elastic band comprises a contacting face, a plurality of nonslip protrusions and a trade groove. The contacting face is connected to the outer circumference of a pulley drum into one body and installed at the lower part of a lagging board(11). A plurality of nonslip protrusions is formed at the other surface of the contacting face to protrude out. The trade groove is at the nonslip protrusions in order to provide a drainage space to the contacting face with the belt conveyor.
