The system has a work station on which a user creates a mail to be sent, and a driver (1) e.g. software, installed on the work station, where the driver creates a virtual printer on the work station. A server receives the mail and electronically transfers the mail to an addressee of the mail, where the mail is presented in a format e.g. spreadsheet or word processing format. Transmission units transmit the mail from the work station to the server, and are activated by the driver, where the transmission units automatically recognize the format. An independent claim is also included for a method for electronically managing a mail.
