A method for creating digital tree map by extracting from other digital tree maps and recording media therefore are provided to process the information filled with the digital tree map according to 'the condition that user wants. The extraction object digital tree map and extraction condition are inputted by the input of the user through the user input means(S130). If the extraction condition is inputted, the branches to satisfy the extraction condition among the extraction object digital tree map are searched(S200). The small trees connecting the subset branches below connected with the searched kinds with 'more significant stage branches connected on the searched kinds are extracted (S300). The small trees extracted is indicated on the digital tree map(S400).
