PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device used for line-Powered, Serially connected Intelligent Cells. SOLUTION: The device used for line-Powered, Serially connected Intelligent Cells includes an input port for receiving an input power signal, first and second ports, and first and second means coupled to the first and the second ports, respectively, the first means is configured so as to receive an input data signal from the first port and give a data signal, and the second means combines an output data signal with an output power signal, wherein the output data signal and the output power signal are configured so as to be generated from a data signal and the input power signal, and to give output power and the data signal to the second port.
