PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image signal processing apparatus by which a user can optimize the correction setting of image quality more easily. SOLUTION: The image signal processing apparatus has a means for displaying a video obtained by performing an image quality process to an image photographed by an image sensor, and a means for recording to and reproducing from a storage medium. The image signal processing apparatus includes an image information acquiring means for acquiring image information to be displayed on an external display apparatus which displays an image transmitted from the image signal processing apparatus, and a means for acquiring a corrected image for deriving a proper adjusting setting of an image quality of a stored image depending on an image quality processing capacity and characteristics of the external display apparatus.
