MOBILE COMMUNICATION COEXISTENCE SYSTEM, BASE STATION APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING BASE STATION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make two or more different mobile communication systems coexist in the same frequency band without reducing the number of users included in each system. SOLUTION: A present base station 10 belonging to the mobile communication system operating at present communicates with a present mobile station 14 at a transmission rate corresponding to a transmission rate of a first time slot group to all time slots by using at least one time slot included in the first time slot group composed of partial time slots. A next base station 12 that belongs to a next generation mobile communication system to which the same frequency band as that of the mobile communication system operating at present is allocated communicates with a next mobile station 16 at a transmission rate corresponding to the transmission rate of a second time slot group to all the time slots by using at least one time slot included in the second time slot group which does not overlap the first time slot group.
